Religion has a large influence on the way societies think about sex. Sometimes, that influence can be felt deep in the confines of your own home. Catholicism has a few hundred years of experience where it comes to controlling the mind of the masses. Ideas about sex and perversions on those ideas have both been applied to society by those seeking control. That control defines the way our society sees & treats sex and sexual desires. In most cases, simply talking about what’s taboo would be difficult to discuss in polite company.
St. Augustine’s is about two young people who find exploring themselves sexually is the most fun when done in the most sacred of places. That desire led them into St. Augustine’s cathedral. One of the most taboo places someone could find to have sex. Fear of being caught was half the fun. And, the confessional booth was perfect for their exploration into the taboo.
Erotica is a widely read genre, even if it’s not talked about very often. Stories with erotic themes can serve many purposes. The least of which is an obsession with sex. I view the Xotica project as a pathway towards a personal understanding of sexuality. The series offers a path for exploring the deepest, most secretive desires in a safe way. You can find more of my projects on Amazon or Apple Books. There’s also some free work available on the Wattpad platform. More of my erotica & other adult shorts can be found in this section of my website.
